Silver Level Member Benefits

• FREE subscription to the Smithsonian’s Air & Space magazine: This bi-monthly magazine provides in-depth coverage of everything from kites to space shuttles. Our members also receive a personalized Smithsonian membership card, reduced rates for IMAX films and planetarium presentations, discounts at SmithsonianStore.com, free lectures at the National Air and Space Museum, discounts at all Smithsonian museum shops and catalog and eligibility for foreign and domestic study tours.

• NAA Platinum Visa® Card: A special invitation for NAA members to apply for the NAA Platinum Visa® card. Along with favorable rates, qualifying members may select from three special aviation card designs and receive exclusive benefits such as charts and aviation product discounts. Each time you use your card, you contribute to NAA’s efforts to promote the art, sport and science of aviation.
  
  
• Member Discounts: Generous discounts on admission rates for all NAA events including the Washington area Luncheon Series, regional meetings and other NAA events; you will also get one voucher for free admission to one of the luncheons. Receive discounts on selected products and services, including rental car discounts with Hertz.
  
  
• FAI Sporting License*: Qualifying members participating in competitions and/or record setting activities receive a one year FAI Sporting License at no cost.
  *The FAI Sporting License is required for any U.S. citizen entering an Air Sport Competition or Air Sport Event in the U.S. that is sanctioned by FAI or for any record attempt under sanction by NAA. Applicants must be a member of NAA or an air sport organization affiliated with NAA. FAI Sporting Licenses for qualified applicants are included with annual NAA membership.
  
  
• FREE one year NAA Air Crew Card (you must be a licensed pilot): The Air Crew Card is a pilot photo ID that can open the door to widely available crew discounts on hotel rooms, rental cars, meals and other travel related expenses.
  
• Record fee discounts: 5% reduction in NAA record fees up to $1,000 per membership period
