NAA's affiliate members represent a special collection of aviation businesses and organizations that participate in many critical aviation issues, such as, aircraft manufacturers' liability, airline operations, aviation historical preservation and much more. Their individual missions and support of NAA's mission benefit us all. Affiliating with NAA helps the aviation community by providing a shared forum for many different types of organizations and associations.

In return for their support, NAA offers affiliate members an array of benefits and services:

Invitations to Awards Ceremonies
NAA affiliate members are invited to attend all major aviation award ceremonies hosted or sponsored by NAA, including the Robert J. Collier Dinner and the Wright Brothers Memorial Dinner.

Networking Opportunities
Participate in the Washington-based Luncheon Speaker Series and other NAA Events. Go to NAA Events.

Award Selection Opportunities
Representatives of the affiliate organization are eligible (by invitation) to sit on NAA-assembled selection committees that choose the recipients for major aviation awards, including the Collier Trophy, the Brewer Trophy and the Elder Statesman of Aviation Award.

Special Nomination Invitations
NAA affiliates receive invitations to submit nominations for the major awards administered by NAA prior to the opening of the nominating period.

Recognition for Support 
Affiliating organizations are listed on NAA's website, with a link to the organization's website.

Individual Member Benefits for Employees

Each Affiliate organization may designate up to four individuals to receive the following NAA individual member benefits:

• Bi-monthly magazine Aero
• Membership card and NAA wings lapel pin
• Free subscription to Smithsonian's Air & Space Magazine and accompanying benefits
• Interactive access to NAA's World and United Stated aviation and space records information
• NAA Air Crew Card, Sporting License and Record Sanctioning Eligibility
